something struck me last week.

i have been dealing with what i can only describe as a fear of death.

i'm not old and not in bad health.

well in a month where i had a friend of 20 years tell me "we can't kick it no mo" because i no longer go to meetings, i had an even older friend who is coming to visit me, call me and tell me hes out.. currently a high profile ms who gives talks out all over the place, the elders said they are recommending him for appt to the body in sep when the co is coming through.

but nope......hes about to step down all together.. what did it?

because i am not disfellowshipped, and soft peddle my issues with the org, i was able to speak to him about things like blood, and a couple other things.

so says kirsten gillibrad the senator from new york.

it was regarding rape at college campus, and how it tends to be handled "internally" and "with bias".. i watched this unfold on an episode of vice on hbo from this weekend.

the similarities were striking.

Having a hard time holding my tongue...

...recently.. i'm normally pretty calculated.

my fade is done, my wife is out, my family and friends know, i maintain quite abit of the friendships of those closest to me jw or not, my family isn't shunning, and the few people we have kept it from for other reasons we are calculating how to break it.

(elderly matriarch that we are simply not going to tell so she doesn't die).. but.....all these facebook meme's and stupid feeds about reliance on jehovah, distraction, staying close to his organization, persevering against satan.....its driving me nuts.

a friend of mine is getting disfellowshipped.

someone with a kind heart, and good rep. he knows how i feel, remains my firend, and we have respectful conversation.

without revealing too much, lets just say the reason he is being disfellowshipped is for family problems.

my wife went out of curiosity.

she is out enough to where it doesn't affect our marriage, but she keeps it a secret from her family and others.

she is beginning to understand what it means to give over your thinking to an organization, and once she works that out there will be no going back.. so she went to the branch visit.

Paranoia and healing

so i got a new computer, which means allof my saved passwords are gone.

so i use the standard e mails and all that, but cannot seem to find the one i used for this one.. i lurked here a long time ago.

i recall being so paranoid about it that i created a fake e mail and fake name to go with it.
